Hereford's Lib Dem MP, Paul Keetch has offered his support to W4B - The TV & Radio Charity. The charity provides TVs and radios for those who find it difficult to leave their homes due to age, illness or disability and are in financial need.
Commenting the MP said, "The charity W4B celebrates its 70th anniversary this year and I pledge my support for the work they do to help people in Herefordshire who are housebound and in financial need.
"The charity provides a range of televisions and radios to those who find it difficult to leave their homes. Whilst many people take their TVs and radios for granted, the charity can help people who are housebound feel less isolated and more in touch with the outside world.
"W4B can provide a second digital television set for people who spend a lot of time in bed due to ill health and are keen to ensure that the sets they provide offer specialist services such as audio captioning where needed. They can also provide radio/cassette/cd players which are fantastic for those who enjoy audio books.
"I encourage any constituents who feel they could benefit from the service to contact me and I will be happy to refer them to W4B - The TV and Radio charity - for extra help."
